"I’ve had this a little over a month and tested it to the limits. Running west Texas oil fields. Rough roads, dust storms, dusty dirt roads. Amazingly the drawers have stayed clean and dust free. Not even sure how that’s possible, but they do. As far as rain and water, it’s not 100% water tight. The tools and test equipment in these decked drawers cost more than the 2022 Z71 duramax, so I need to keep them safe. Before ever loading tools I did some spray tests. Then a couple trips through the car wash. Zero water got inside. On a run through Dallas a couple days ago, I encountered the hardest rain and wind I’d ever driven in. Winds over 60mph and rain dumping like I’ve never seen. The wind and rain lasted the entire trip from Dallas to Houston. It was like driving in a hurricane. The next morning I decided to check the decked drawers. Both drawers had about half an oz of water that got in near the handles. Not enough to hurt anything, and surely the worth case scenario this thing will ever see. I’m extremely impressed. We’ll worth the money!"
